£30942 to £34804 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience.
The Freelands Foundation has funded a national research project examining the state of arts education in primary schools in England. We are seeking to appoint a research fellow to work as part of the team. The role requires working with qualitative data from the forty primary school case control study conducted over two years. The role will primarily involve collection of primary data and analysis. There will be opportunities to travel to schools throughout England to carry out research data collection. The role holder will work with the wider research team and support their work with qualitative data. There may be an opportunity to engage with the APPG on arts education and with the Freelands Foundation.
Applicants should hold a PhD in a relevant subject area. They should also have qualitative analytical skills and research experience with children and teachers in schools.
The post is fixed-term until 31 May 2023. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours per week), however job share arrangements may be considered.
