Job offer: Postdoctoral Fellow at the chamber laboratory at the School of Environmental Science and Engineering (SESE) of Shandong University (SDU), Qingdao campus with Prof. Hartmut Herrmann
We are looking for a postdoc to work with us at tour aerosol simulation chamber laboratory which is the SDU smog chamber. We are running a group here dealing with chamber SOA and multiphase chemistry investigations, aqueous phase chemistry and CAPRAM modelling. Work is also linked to field investigations in China with many collaborations. Then again, there are linkages back to TROPOS Leipzig with its Atmospheric Chemistry Department in Germany.
We are looking for a capable postdoc who aims to establish in atmospheric chemistry research in China and world-wide. The perfect candidate should have a related Ph.D. and be ready to start soon. Work will be at SESE, SDU campus Qingdao. A contract will be set up over three years according to the qualification of the candidate, it could be at one of the theee levels of postdoctoral fellow support by SDU. Close interaction with Prof Herrmann as the group leader is foreseen with strong possibilities to establish as an early career researcher.
